Spiš 333 EXTREME 2026 (Spišských 333 EXTREME 2026)

Spiš 333 EXTREME (Spišských 333 EXTREME) is one of Slovakia’s toughest mountain biking challenges, taking riders deep into the forests, mountains, valleys, and historic landscapes of the Spiš region. Starting and finishing in Spišská Nová Ves, this self-supported endurance event attracts cyclists looking to test their limits on some of the country’s most demanding off-road routes.

The flagship route covers an incredible 333 kilometres with more than 5,000 metres of climbing, but shorter options of 222 km, 111 km, 66 km, and a family route are also available. Participants navigate using GPS and are responsible for managing their own food, accommodation, and rest along the way, making the event as much a test of endurance and self-reliance as cycling ability.

The route showcases some of the most beautiful scenery in eastern Slovakia, passing through forests, mountain trails, and areas around the Slovak Paradise and Spiš regions. While many riders come to compete, for others the challenge is simply to reach the finish line. As the organisers put it, the real victory is completing this extraordinary adventure.
